Most of my family are republicans. I feel really upset by some of the horrible things they have been saying about those who voted for Obama, even though Ive tried to stay out of blasting my views on Facebook. Its really hurtful, and as a mom of 4 who stays home while my hubby works (I guess that makes me lazy) I know they assume Im on assistance too.

Im from Canada and I can tell you all it's not all its cracked up to be for sure lol so when i see those comments I laugh, I like obama and what he has done so far and i found it funny how on fb all my friends were like YES OBAMA or ooh American election today, and saw someone joked how us canadians know so much about the american election yet Americans know nothing about ours.. TBH i barely know anything about ours, I just know who obama is because president of the freakin united states, lol.. NOT BASHING ANYONE

Same here! My entire side of the family is Republican and I haven't told them which way I voted, mainly because either way they have something horrible to say =/ I stay at home while my husband works, and everyone automatically assumes I'm too lazy and on assistance

Hugs for you.

People forget that people of opposing views feel just as strongly about their views as you do about your own.

It really gets to me when people can't see that. Disagreeing... hell yes. That's good, we can't all have the same views. But discrediting someone's view because they don't agree with you? Agh.

Man. Even some of the ones against Mitt are bad.

Fuck, people. Why do you think the world revolves only around your opinion?

I had to delete a few people on fb because of their comments. It was just never-ending. One person was saying how proud she was of her sister since it was her first time voting and she voted for the right person. I meant seriously? There is no right person. I am just ready for this crap to be over with. I thought the election would end it all. I was wrong.

hahahahaha I think it's hilarious, I was up after he won, and everybody who doesn't support obama was saying I am packing up and moving to canada. I mean hell I think Canadians better watch out because apparently most of america or at least South Carolina are moving to Canada lmfao! I just made my status last night to say "I mean dude seriously??? I am getting so aggravated seeing people complaining about the election results...like come on what's complaining going to do....Nothing!" I didn't vote because i don't really care for either one. I told a friend of mine that I didn't vote and a family member said to slap me because I didn't vote. I mean people go crazy over stupid stuff. It's not like Obama can be put out of office we have 4 years with him, so people need to know that he isn't going anywhere unless something happens. People get so childish!

I was taught to do your research and go for the lesser of two evils. I don't trust either one because they're politician but I voted for Obama. Honestly Romney scared me. That talk about binders of woman just reminded me of that show big love. And yes I know that being Mormon doesn't mean you have a bunch of wives.

And.......those comments are coming from all the GOOD OLE CHRISTIANS!!!! God, I love living in the Bible belt......Where people are ignorant, but....They're God is gonna save them.

Well thanks so much to all you American citizen's that voted for him I hope y'all are happy cause I'm sure not. The united stated will never b the same. It may take a year or so but you'll see how Obama should have never been re-elected. This country is never going to b the same. Now if what I said offended anybody well just get over it, the truth hurts sometimes."

It's 2012 and people still use the word nigger as an insult.

That shows where we are as a nation.

It's just disgusting how people act. Why can't they just suck it up and deal with it?? Their bitching and insults are not going to change anything.
