I usually am not a fan of rice krispy treats, however I LOVE the varieties of marshmallows. My DD and I made neopolatin ones (3 batches, chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla layered in thin layers and then drizzled with melted chocolate). Next is mint chocolate with chocolate chips pressed into the top.

The dollar store where I live sells bags of marshmallows, they have chocolate, caramel vanilla, strawberry, mint chocolate, the fruit flavored ones. My DD and I are doing tins of different flavors for christmas (neopolitan, the mint chocolate, caramel vanilla layered with chocolate, regular, and maybe plain chocolate) cut into christmas shapes with cookie cutters for gifts. :)

I think I might have to steal your idea. I was thinking of things to make this year. My kitchen is so much smaller now it's kind of got me down. But those are easy and the girls can help too!
