Your support of Obama has nothing to do with how I view your comments. I point out holes in every argument I see. The only examples you bring up are from your community and your perspective, but you claim that you and other Democrats are way less self-centered than Republicans. The breakdown of government-run entities is not my plight; it's everyone's plight! Just because it has not affected you yet does not mean it is not happening.

<blockquote><b>Quoting SpaceCowgirl:</b>" Yes, I do. Private sector can do it just fine. UPS and FedEx are doing great while the post office struggles."</blockquote>

I assumed you was talking doing away with it in general. I agree with you. I think it could be handled better privately. I think it would get hugely expensive and could end up costly a lot of jobs in the transition though

765 and 766 both passed. So, we eliminated DHS and intangible property taxes. 765 was passed 59.9% to 40.1%.

I'm stating that governement is extremely inefficient and ineffective. they shold NOT be trusted to take on more responsibilities like health care and education where they have demonstrated failures.
I think the USPS has a role but that it needs massive overhaul. I live in a suburb and I'm astounded by how make POs we have here. Management has no clue how to be effective in using resources.
