I'm on a mission to gain weight. I've always had a problem gaining weight and not losing it because of my high metabolism. What are some things to eat that are high in calories?

And, how many calories a day are you SUPPOSED to be getting a day? I read somewhere that it's like 1,752 for my weight and age and height and then somewhere else said that I'd need to eat 3,500 calories a day if I wanted to gain 1lb a week. That's a lot for me!

It's 3,500 calories to gain 1 pound.

Eat a bunch of fast food...that stuff will make you gain weight fast.

You need to google your bmr which is your basic metabolic rate.

Then you need to take that number, and multiply it by how active you are.
The less you weigh, the less that will be.

To gain 1lb a week you'll need to eat about what you said 3500 or a bit more depending on how active you are.

If you want good weight.. Proteins and fruits can still be high in calories if you eat enough of them.

My BMI is 16.6. :( I'm not very active like I don't exercise but I do take care of two toddlers all day long and chase them around the house. I'm trying to be lazy but it's just not possible with two little ones.

My doctor told me no fast foods. I was like uh, what? I want to gain weight. She also told me not to drink soda or tea because that is like me being on coke.
