I want too! I love this name.
It was between Keagan Paul or Liam Paul. Liam...well that started a huge fight with one of my best friends. You can read my post about that. DH also liked Keagan better then Liam so that's why we decided on Keagan. Now....a friken Jr?! No way!

You don't even know. You honestly don't/ HE IS ATTACHED TO THE TIT STILL!

If I wrote a post about how bad it was, no one would read it because it would literally be so long. I can't stand it. It's gotten worse, WAY WORSE since we've been married :(
& she's not like this at all with her other son.

tell him he gets the last name and he should be thankful for that much.

Naming your child after yourself is not only egotistical, it's cruel.

Tell him to suck it up, because there won't be any Jr's in your house hold as long as you're the mother.

That's what I told my husband before we had kids. He had absolutely had No say about it and I was putting my foot down.

when we became pregnant, the subject never came up.

The number 1 reason I don't like Jr's is because I think it is egotistical. It is also awkward to be calling for someone and then two people reply all the time! If he wants to use a name from his side of the family what about his dad's name?

I think that the middle name of your uncle sounds important to you so you should express that to him. If he isn't loving Keegan anymore I am sure you can find something else that you both like for a first name. You are both parents and you both have to be happy with the name choice.

As for the nosy mom situation I would suggest that you ask that the two of you keep the name discussions private between you two and don't include any other family members.

Dads name is Jamie. Nick name James. Won't use James. We also want an Irish name. Which is why I don't get why he wants a Jr all of a sudden.
It took us forever to agree on a name. The only reason we agreed on Landon (which was our first choice) was because we both thought it was Irish. Until I realized it wasn't.

If his mom ever brings anything up, he goes with what she says. Her opinion always matter. Which posses me off sometimes.
Like my dad doesn't like Keagan but my mom does. My dad also said it's our child, so he will love him no matter what his name is and we have overall say.

I keep telling him no. I want the middle name to be Paul. If he's a Jr, Paul won't be his middle name. He keeps saying our next baby can be Keagan Paul. No, I don't want to wait and I'm not sure if I want anymore then two children to begin with.
No one in his family gets why I want Paul for his middle name. It's like they don't care. If it was up to me, his FIRST name would be Paul but since DH (and of course, family) said they don't like it for a first name I agreed to middle name. As long as this baby has Paul in his name, that's all that matters to me.
I don't want a damn Jr! And Raymond isn't friken Irish!
