They told me at the doc, but I was to have a second, second trimester U/S because they couldn't get a good view of the fourth chamber of her heart. And scribbled next to that comment from the U/S tech it just said "Positional"
It could just be that don't sweat it. I'd hope your OB wouldn't put you in a situation where you'd stress I'm sure it's just to make sure your baby's cooking fine :)
Thanks ladies :) I'm gonna call my doc tomorrow and do the call back system so I can talk to someone who knows whats going on, just incase. The girl who did my u/s did seem to have problems getting everything. She even said something about not knowing why they schedule them that early because it makes it harder on the techs to get the pictures they need, but I have heard of alot of women getting them done at 18 weeks, and not needing any more u/s, so it worried me a little. Just keep your fingers crossed that they only need better picures, and nothing is wrong for me please.
Real quick next time you have an U/S as uncomfortable as it is being pregnant, go in with a full bladder makes it ten times easier and they'll thank you if they notice. Mine asked if I was ok cause she saw it was so full. I explained what I'd heard and she said thanks it really does make it easier. Still couldn't get a profile, and still need another but it might help. Good luck :D!
Yeah my dr called me in too for a level 2 u/s. I go in on wed.
Quoting Lay Wright:" Yeah my dr called me in too for a level 2 u/s. I go in on wed."
Good luck :) I go in the day before thanksgiving, which is also the day of my OB appointment so I am hoping to get some straight answers then. Untill then my LO is moving around, and kicking the crap outta me, so I am not gonna worry about it lol.
