Quoting Brennan's Momma(::" I was 17 when me & my Husband had our first baby. I know Im way younger than you but we put him first ... [snip!] ... we put him first & do whats best for him(: . Im a mom & proud of it. Just dont let other peoples labling distract you."
No one is labeling her, she's labeling herself.

I'm 16, graduated, have a job start college in the spring and live on my own. I had WIC but not anymore. My baby is almost a month old and we're doing great. I work at a clothing store and his dad is in the military. I make sure my son has everything he needs. My parents had bought me a car for my 16th birthday and they bought his bassinet . I'm on their car insurance still but I have to pay my part of the bill along with gas. I buy his formula, diapers, and everything else. It is possible to provide for your child at 16... As much as I agree that most older women are better parents you can't forget about the few teen mothers who do everything on their own, too.

hey! I'm also 19, and my bub is 6months this week! welcome to bg. If you would like to talk at all then feel free to message me. My boyfriend works full time, and I look after our baby, we do our best and we love our little family. I also attend University still doing my degree to have a better future for me and my baby. :D If you have everything worked out for your family then age does not matter, and I know we are on teen parenting here, but at least your an older 'teen' too.
