Thank you. I can only make sure I do better as a mommy tomorrow's and everyday after.

I think you you have been a great example to your daughter in showing her that even Mommies can make mistakes but you still apologized. You made it right by her and that is what matters. You know that you shouldn't have reacted that way with your son and I'm sure the scratch is the wake up call that you may have needed to show you the importance of a calm and rational response.

We've all made parenting mistakes. The important thing is ( like we teach our children) learn from those mistakes. It certainly doesn't make you a bad mommy. It makes you a human that made a mistake.

I feel sooooo guilty. I can't even find the words to describe it. I look at them and feel like they deserve a better mommy. I love them and am trying my best....but from the last few days it is pretty obvious my best is less than they deserve. They deserve someone better than me.

Everyone gets stressed and no one is perfect, that doesn't make you a bad mommy. When I find myself getting stressed I find someone to watch my daughter, even if its just for an hour, and take some time for myself. Good luck.

Could anyone love them more than you? I doubt it. So you are the perfect mommy for them. Love them unconditionally and learn to forgive yourself. They obviously have.

I asked my DD how she could forgive me for taking away her barbies when she really didn't lose it. She looked at me, gave me a kiss, and told me "because you are my mommy and you love me and I know you weren't being mean on purpose, it was an accident." Instant puddle. How is she so forgiving? I love them more than anything.

Wouldn't you want your daughter to accept forgiveness if she did something wrong and was truly sorry? Or would you want her to continue to suffer over her mistake?Accept forgiveness of course, so you should be an example of that also. Show her what it looks like to accept that forgiveness.
