Did you let your LOs swing in the baby swing?

ETA: I meant at the park.

Baby swing at a park or the battery operated ones?

My daughter didn't come home from the hospital until she was 3.5 months old. She started swinging at 6 months old

Like an indoor swing? Or like a baby swing at the park?

Oh good question! Didn't think of that

I meant a baby swing as one at home that plugs in

I would think if LO can sit up well and hold up their head well they are good to go :)

She still hasn't at the park and she's 16 months old. If she wants to swing I sit her on my lap and go back and forth. She probably won't until she's 2 or so

When they could sit up unassisted. For my boys that was between 3 and 6 months.

The boys are 16 months and they haven't been in a baby swing yet... However, Santa is bringing them a swing set, with slide, air glider & see saw for Xmas. They'll be 18 months then, and we'll let them swing then.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't put their 16 month old in one

Given I don't take her to the park but two times since I've been home since September 19

I was asking because I take my 5 month old to the park almost daily. He can now sit up unassisted for a couple minutes at a time and I am just so excited to take him on the swings. I know that he isn't ready yet, but I just wanted to see what the average age was.

Shoot, the park is only 1 city block behind our house...And I've never taken them there at all. But we will start swinging since they're getting their own.

Lol I think she's still too young to swing by herself. Or go down the slides or do much on her own
