I was never Christian. My mom is an atheist and her mom is an atheist. I was raised right lol.

No, I was medically discharged a month into basic because of a pre-existing injury that was exacerbated by the physical demands of basic. They made me go to physical therapy and I was kept in med hold for a while. It sucked.

There are hundreds of sects of hindus. I followShiva. There are others that follow Kali and in the smaller villages, still perform human sacrifice to her.

I lived in Ok and from Ca..Main issue I had with Oklahoma is their family laws. They are a joke! Which in turn is making OK one of the worse with their CPS and Child abuse. California Has their issues also. I am one of those who would love Cali to be split in half! Actually in 3rds. But that will never happen. We are going bankrupt and they think raising taxes on everyone and using education as an excuse will help. People are dumb enough to vote for it! Many people have moved out of Cali including big bussiness

Being a holdover sucks ass, and sucks way worse when it's in basic. When I was in AIT, just before taking the final, I got meningitis symptoms and was sent for a spinal tap. 4 hours after the spinal tap I took the final but passed out about 5 mins later in the hallway. The hole in the membrane holding CSF in wasn't healing, I had spinal headaches every time I sat up, ended up being hospitalized for a week. So I missed the final week in the field and had to be a holdover until another company reached it's final week in the field.

They treat holdovers like crap most of the time because most holdovers in AIT are double-taps; they fail the same academic test twice and are just waiting to be discharged or reassigned to a different MOS. Everyone has a low opinion of them and just assumes all holdovers are double-taps. I once got really mad at a drill sergeant that was messing with us one day and hollered out "I got straight As and passed the final but was at BAMC for a week, I didn't f**king double-tap!" Then they were all cool to me after that LOL. And then I went to the next company to finish the last week.

But being a holdover is typically much worse in basic because you usually don't get all your stuff back and you're not allowed your civilian clothes or free time to go off base. Unless it changed since I was in.

I'm sorry. :(

CPS is changing now that we voted to turn administration of DHS over to the legislature and ban any director from ever running the agency. It gives the people the right to vote on what benefits we want expanded and which we want cut.

Thats cool! Forgot about that. Thing is in Oklahoma mothers automatically get custody of the kids. Proven fact is 61% of bio moms are the abusers. I know for a fact that fathers get shitted on over there. I understand its the bible belt. But maybe they need to open their eyes and see there are awesome dads out there that are willing to raise their children. So who exactly is running CPS now? I am glad they are doing something about it. I researched it alot and was brought to tears on some of the stories. Yes I know CPS can suck in every state lol.

The state legislature and we will have a bond ballot every year to decide where the citizens want the money to go.

Yeah there were some holdover Airmen when I was in medhold. It seemed they played favorites with them, though. I was disgusted with the way a lot of the med hold (basic) girls were treated. My room was outside the command desk or whatever (forgot what it's called) cuz I had to have first floor housing for a while and I overheard the co's say some very inappropriate things. Like one time they were discussing this one particular girl and airing her personal life and talked about her and said she was a wh**e. It made me so angry. A lot of the med hold people are there for mental health reasons, too...like depression and anxiety and some even for suicide attempts and they just f**king treat them like shit. We had a dude try to commit suicide down the hall because of some shit an officer said to him.

The governor is the new director but must have approval from the legislature to change anything. The citizens vote on where the money goes.

I was referring to the redneck part, which is a racist term, which you said you don't use because they're never funny.

You know, you can believe in taking care of all people without expecting your government to be the one doing it for you. You giving your money to the government and having them divvy it out is nothing special. On that same token, it is glaringly obvious that our government is not taking care of people. They are not spending our money wisely. So, rather then giving them more of our money, most would rather see them handle it in a better manner. That's not selfish. Why would we want to pump more money into something that simply is not working? Because they promise that with more money it will work? You act like you're some martyr because you believe in helping others, but you can't offer one single way in which your dreamland can actually come to fruition.

You brought up many European countries that are going broke with a quarter of the population we have. Not a good argument. Name one country with our population that has a socialist system that works.

Redneck is not a racist term. Redneck is not race specific. That's absurd.
And I'm sorry, but when do we get a CHOICE in where our money goes? Last I checked I never signed off on two wars that murder innocent people and bankrupted our country. How about we stop spending so much f**king money on our military (which we don't need to spend NEAR as much as we do) and spend it where it needs to go? It's hard as shit for some people who really need assistance to get it. I was in college, couldn't find a job, and living on my own living off my extra grant money and did not qualify for food stamps because I was in college. How is that fair? While another person and her bf were high school dropouts not working or doing shit with their lives and getting $200/month EACH for food? It's not readily available to the people who truly need it. Cutting these programs helps NOBODY. Except it helps the greedy people I guess, but that's what we get for being a capitalist society. And I'm pretty sure you are wrong about all of those countries going broke. Socialism doesn't make countries broke. When more people are healthy and able to work that HELPS society. It doesn't hinder it. Capitalism MAKES US GO BROKE.
