I thought about you when I was reading it and had a good feeling that you had read it with the type of advice you have given me in the past.
Did you do a pre bedtime, nap, and a night log? What is the purpose for doing that? just to see what you might be doing wrong?
Tonight is going to be the first night I try the Pantley's gentle removal plan. Im anxious for it. But I know hes got a good positive start since he will sometimes nurse and then pull off on his own and roll over and go to sleep on his own. Its rare but does happen sometimes.

I'm interested in trying this out as well.
The pantley pull off is perfect! sometimes it takes a few times but when they start rooting around for the nip again, try gently putting pressure on his arm, like holding it down when he fights against it. Most of the time it works for us where Cillian thinks he's swaddled now and goes to sleep.

Do you have to do Pantley's removal plan before they baby learns to go to sleep on their own? I'm reading her book but I don't quite get which comes first. I tried it today with my daughter 5 months & it did work but at bed time I didn't. I'm not sure i need to.
