Quoting Annette Topham:" still have a fever today, ibprofin takes it down to 99 but it goes back up. tylenol takes it down to 101 ugh... "

If you still have a fever today, you should definitely go see a doctor. Don't wait til your next appointment. If it goes untreated for that long, it could abcess, and cause you a whole lot of other problems.

I had Mastisis a few weeks ago and it did go away on its own! I had a a fever, redness and breast pain in my right breast for about three days. The sore red spot was a large area below my n****e. I fed Asher alot from that side, took tylenol and drank tons of water and it went away by itself :)

Ms. Eagles helped me through pms!

Quoting Ms.Eagles:" Don't know. I'm not a doctor, but I had all the symptoms of mastitis: fever, chills, headache, dizziness, ... [snip!] ... go back and he'd write me a prescription. It depends on the severity of mastitis, I guess...I'm just going by what I was told."

I'm glad that your regimen worked. Mastitis can be awful.

I have never had it before. All i know is it hurts and the fevers kill. Sensitive to the touch and hot!
