Babies NEED to crawl before they walk??
DD doesn't army crawl or scoot. She can turn herself in a circle and that's it. If there's anything for her to pull up on she will do that. She has taken a few steps along things. I'm reading conflicting things online about brain development when it comes to walking and crawling.

She's 7 months and 5 days

False, some babies go straight to walking, so they don't NEED to crawl.

False. DD took her first steps at 7 1/2 months & was running by 9 months. She never even bothered crawling first or really even attempting to other than a few times she would sit up on all 4's & rock.
