I remember reading somewhere that if you are having a boy they tend to be overdue more often than girls. Anyone who has had both, and not had complications during pg, did this ring true for you?

yup. DD I was 39-2, DS I was 40-1. And DS was my second. Not true with my mom though. I was 6 days overdue, and my brother was 2 weeks early

I don't know from my own experience but my mom had me 2 weeks overdue and my brother on her due date.

My son was overdue.

I have had two boys and both were early and a friend of mine was pregnant at the same time as me with the last one and she had to be induced because she couldn't go into labor on her own

My husband was a full 17 days overdue and I was 3 days early. My girls have all been really close to their due date, within days, and being my 4th and having 3 of my 4 so close together I thought Id have this one a little early, but guess not~!

Not quite. Out of my five children four were overdue only one came on her due date. 3 boys = 10-14 days overdue, girl = 14 days overdue, girl= born on edd.

I don't think that's true. My brother was born 8 weeks early and I know one of my boy cousins was born a couple weeks early.

My 1st son was 9 days over- Failed induction that ended in an emergency cesarean.

My daughter was 10 days over- Wanted a VBAC, ended in planned Cesarean.

My 2nd son was 1 week over- Came all on his own!! Finally got my VBA2C :)

Well obviously there are exceptions to everything, its not a proven fact.
