If you don't mind sharing, what jean size did you wear pre-baby and post-baby, and how did you feel comfortable? I'm 5 months PP. I was a size 6 before I got pregnant, and about 125-130 pounds. Now I'm 140-145 pounds and a size 10 or 12. I'm really not that big, but I feel horrible to look in the mirror and know I gained weight and can't take it off. My hips expanded a LOT and I know they aren't going anywhere, no matter how much weight I lose. How did you feel comfortable in your PP body?

It was a process. Part of it was working on my self esteem, which usually has nothign to do with looks. Also, exercising and eating right helped a ton. When I treat my body well I respect it more. It didn't have to do with changing it really, but with treating it and using it well.

See, I have a problem with that. When I eat healthy and cut out junk food, I'm miserable. I still don't lose any weight and I hate the world because I just want a f**king brownie.

I am was getting really comfortable with my body after my first son. I LOVED my hips because I never had that curve before lol. I was starting to lose weight and get into shape and loved having that. Now I am 5 in a half months pp with my second boy. I am having a harder time this time around. BUT I know it will take a while just like it did last time and I will eventually be comfortable with how I look. It will take a lot of motivation and time to get that way again, but well worth it :)

I was a size 3 and 120 pounds pre pregnancy
I don't remember when I back down to that size, but I noticed my hips were basically back to normal at a year pp, and I was a size 2 and 116 pounds

I got a belly band and put that on immediately after birth and wore it until it no longer fit which I believe helped tremendously.. I plan to do that after this baby, but I am also getting a hip corsett to help put my hips back to normal ASAP.

I was about 140 pre-baby, a 6 or 7 in jeans. Now I'm 12 weeks pp and 129, my old jeans are falling off so I have to use belts which I never did. But I still feel weird because my hips are wider, I feel disproportionate now.

I can't believe some of you are smaller  Did you diet/work out? I feel like I gained 5 pounds in just my b**bs. I went from a 34B to a 34D.

Yeah, I did. A lot. I lost most of the weight I gained during pregnancy pretty fast, but was still obese from before having kids. I've been dieting and exercising and that's why I'm now smaller (it's 20 months pp or so).

I didn't diet or exercise but I am breastfeeding so i think that's helped. I didn't even expect to lose weight so fast, it all came off in the first 4 or 5 weeks, then I just kept losing.
