I have heard from several people that they cover it...how do you get it though....do you get it at the hospital or do you get a script and bring it somewhere in particular...I would love to know this info! Thanks in advanced!
If you have proof that you are working (pay stubs) WIC will provide you with a Medela breastpump after your baby is born so you can pump when you return to work if you are not using any formula.
I have Medicaid and they paid for my breast pump. They gave me one right in the hospital to take home and billed my insurance.
The hospital gave my friend the medela breats pump. It was one of those little hand pumps. Still nice though. Insurance covered it.
You can call L&d and ask if they give them out there. If not call your insurance and ask how to get the pump.
Thanks for all the info ladies!
Quoting Carter will be here soon!:
thats good for you but thats a bunch of bs. my freakin insurance wouldnt even cover my breast pump and i PAY for that shit.
