Isla is really pretty. It could even be a nickname for Delilah.
I know what you mean about the hassle. I feel like everyone would think inwas crazy.
We don't have anything with Hailey's name on it. Well, just a binky.

But when you change a name I think they just cross it out or add paper. Her original birth name will still be on the 1st signed birth paper right? So later on she will ask. But it's not ridicules. 9 months may not be long enough to pick a name. Hard stuff. You do what you feel is right.

We changed my daughter's name when she was 3. 2 years later and no regrets.

People think it's weird but f**k them.

I really am contemplating it still. I am so set on Charlotte with Lottie for short. I've always adored it.
What is your daughter's name?

No, they just make a new birth certificate. My name was changed when I was 3 from Stacy to Anastasia. My mom thought Stacy wasn't full enough so she gave me Anastasia and called me Stacy for short.

That's awesome you did what you felt was right. What did you change her name from? She was okay with it?
I'm thinking about keeping Hailey in her name. I'm thinking about her having 2 middle names-
Charlotte Hailey Gianna Positano
I'll just have to see if SO is on board. I don't know if I can convince him =/
If not, I can always hope for another daughter someday..

It sounds to me lik you want to change it because you want another girl, there are lots of baby names I love but I picked my sons name and I stuck to it, I will just hope that one day I have another boy so I can use the other name too :) Don't change it, it would be far too weird.

Not weird at all. If you want to change it change it. She's still young enough to not have problems. Now if you waited 10'years or something then it would be weird. I like your other names much much better

Am I a f**king weirdo for even thinking it? Need advice cuz I'd have to do it soon if we're gonna do it!"</blockquote>

Hailey is better than all of those names. There are plenty of adults named hailey. I think she's a little too old to be changing her name
