When your leaving a store, you have all of your things in your car, do you just leave the cart there or do you walk it to the cart stall?

I do, always. I worked at a grocery store for a while in highschool and collecting carts is awful.

Cart stall, unless it's just DD and I and it's pouring. THEN I'm an a*****e.

I always park by it, makes it easier to just shove it in the right spot.

Almost always. I try to park by the cart returns so I don't have to leave my kids in the car unattended for too long.

I do 99.99% of the time.
The only time I don't is if I have the kids with me and it's pouring, and I'm far away from the stall. Which isn't very often. lol

Any other time, yes.

Every time and any extra I find along the way. I've never worked for a grocery store but I feel so bad when it's super cold and snowing and the workers have to walk all over collecting carts. Plus, I've had a cart blow into my car because someone didn't put it away..that pissed me off because it left a good dent.

DS is autistic so I don't really like to leave him alone, plus most of the time if we're leaving the store he's so on edge I just have to get the hell out of there. If it's close I'll run it over. If he's in a good mood or I have someone else with me I always do it.

I never did until I collected carts for two years. The job was so physically demanding (metal charts, no electronic thing to help push them) that I used to shake and vomit after working some days.
I always park near a cart return, or if I can't I pass it off onto someone walking towards the store. Someone will always take it.

Every time. I generally park next to a cart area but yesterday I parked really far back and put my cart away and carried my stuff [big ass bag of litter and cat food] to my car. I hate seeing carts just...left around. Ugh.
BUT I don't have kids with me ever either.

lol.

I am lucky, we go early in the morning when nobody is there.

Me too! I HATE when I go to pull into a spot and someone has left a cart there, or when a random cart rolls into my car and scratches it while I'm shopping! Grrr....
