I don't know, it was only like 9.5 years ago. He was pervy. Like I said, I quit shortly after starting, it wasn't the job for me. I went from that to working in an apartment complex as their part time secretary, much different occupation!

Toronto used to be full of the pay for cart things. lol Not sure if they still use that method in some places there anymore. lol

i think it has more to do with carts damaging cars.
i was furious every time someone left their stupid cart near our car and it slammed into it and left scratches or dents on it. especially because our car was brand new at the time.

I do most of the time but sometimes I put it in the safest position I can and grab my daughter if she is being a bugger. Most places have smaller trolly holder sections so it's never really an issue, just one that springs to mind where they don't and i've left it.

Quoting Carol :):" I'm sorry, I can't stand when people have that attitude. I understand it's their job to get the cart but you don't have to make it harder on them."

And I personally don't. But I can't help others actions.

Then you are covered by the DOL on that.

Don't take it out on others if you did not have the balls to address a job responsibility that was beyond your physical capability.

Any person who filed a complaint about anything ended up fired within the month. The reason was always something like "didn't promote store card." But it consistently happened to those who threatened to file a complaint, or did so. It's not legal, but it happens- a lot.
