Quoting Idlehands:" I'm not saying anything of the sort. Although, I don't disagree with your thoughts. I personally, ... [snip!] ... know when the names flow well together- I don't mean in terms of having the same amount of consonants or anything like that... "
It's just common practice to have a middle name in the U.S. I considered not using them but it would just be a big pain for me and for my kids throughout their lives. I don't think having a strong second name takes away from the first name in any way. I don't use the middle name unless I'm filling out documents but it's there and it's substantial. I like that. To me, Coraline Ivy does flow well.

*Shrugs* it's common practise in most countries to have a middle name, including my own. My children have middle names...so I am not anti middle names.
I didn't say that a strong middle name takes away from the first name, at all, I said it was a strong enough first name to stand alone. Since OP wants a middle name, I too chose Coraline Ivy.
I'm not a huge fan of the choices but then again, it's not my child's name.
<blockquote><b>Quoting Devil Duckie:</b>" We find out Dec 18th and unless my husband can come up with anything better, these are MY top 2 picks. I'm open to middle name suggestions, but these are the only ones I can think of. "</blockquote>
I really like Coraline Violet.
What happened to Zoe? I like both but I think I prefer Stella more.
Quoting Devil Duckie:" where is it over used? I've never met anyone with the name nor have I seen it here. I don't think ... [snip!] ... don't like the. Make a suggestion. As long as you're not thinking something generic like Anne, Rose, Marie, Nicole, Renee Etc. "
