Quoting Olive ♥:" Not too sure what you mean by that.. lol. I won't be moving out anytime soon, and especially not over something silly like this."

If you feel it's 'silly' than why let it 'piss you off'?! It's annoying for sure, but I would just ignore it and keep doing what I was doing.

yes.... exactly!

OP its clearly bothering you... your parents overstepping boundaries, sounds like its time to grow up and find your own place to live.

It has nothing to do with "growing up". Living with my family does not make me any less of an adult. Thanks though. I had a talk with her and everything is fine!

Actually, yes it does.

That's a huge step in life... Leaving the nest... Clearly your mom still treats you like you are... a child. Take your family, move out and start your own life.

You're barking up the wrong tree, honey. Get your quotes straight! I never said anything about living at home/acting grown up/being treated like a child!

True that.

I need to move further away for sure. As it is we only live a few streets apart  BUT at least we have our own space now! lol

Quoting ★Bαtgirl:" OP, you're still a teenager, correct? Maybe you're not showing the responsibility your mom wants to see... ... [snip!] ... your own bills and rent. Sounds like it's time to act like an adult, especially since you even said this wasn't a big deal. "

Lol. First, no. I am not a teenager. I'm in college, I take care of my own kid, and support him. He's never away from me. I'm not one of those "parents" that shoves my kid off on someone else. And second, living on my own does not equal being an adult. Just because I live with my mom and dad does not mean I'm not an adult and I don't support myself. We live on a farm. My parents are getting old. Ever think maybe my parents need help with things? Plus, I see married couples living with their parents all the time. I really don't see a problem with it. We're a close family and we love living together. We just have an occasional disagreement that I need to vent about.
