Thanksgiving is long gone for me, but all these turkey posts have me wonderinng!
What do you do? Host? Go to the ilaws for the day? Go to your parents? Stay home and mope?
I work. Im at work right now, just finished putting a buffet out
when we are home, we go to our family's houses (grandma's, mom's). The past couple of years we have hosted, but this year we are going to a friend's house.
I am usually at my parents, but they are 500 miles away, so it's just us 3, lazing around, making a nice big turkey dinner, watching movies later, maybe breaking out the wii.
Were going to MILs tonight and on Saturday were having dinner with my family. :D
Why don't you do thanksgiving if you don't mind me asking.
I normally work... I don't celebrate colonial thanksgiving. But we did do a harvest festival earlier this fall.
Today nothing since my in-laws changed it to Saturday on us last min. I really wish we had gone with our original plan with just us and kids.
Thanksgiving has been made into our Military family holiday. Since a lot of us travel for Easter and Christmas, this our time with each other.
We'll be going to a friends house later. Sometimes we pick up homeless vagrants in the weeks leading up to the day. And by homeless vagrants, I mean junior Marines that don't have families and aren't going home.
Quoting Logan&Lilly's Mommy:" Were going to MILs tonight and on Saturday were having dinner with my family. :D Why don't you do thanksgiving if you don't mind me asking."
