It's such a confidence buster. I'm 29 weeks and have gained 22 lbs. I'm 4'11 and started off at 135, now I'm 157. I don't understand, I try and go by healthy habits and such :c

If you are eating healthy, then your body is gaining just as much as your baby needs. You could go on walks as well. Don't let it get to you. You are making a baby, be proud! Embrace it!

I completely understand how you feel!!! I am only 5'1 and have put on 40lbs this pregnancy AND have puked 24/7 the whole time so it just baffles me how I have put on so much weight when I literally puke almost everything up. I feel like Violet from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when she eats the gum and turns into a blueberry, and everytime I get up I feel like the Oompa Loompa's are going to come out and start singing and dancing :)

My doc said I am also carrying a large baby fantastic... just what I need when I had my first who was 8lbs 6oz, I got a 4th degree rectal tear!! The only thing that gets me through is I have one awesome little girl and this is a boy and then I am DONE and I can get the old me back :) I'm a runner so it is even more upsetting because I've been so sick with puking and passing out my second trimester I have not been able to run. So I'm going crazy with that too!!

i feel ya, before i got knocked up i had lost 50 lbs, and was still fat and working on losing the rest. I was so determend to keep it off and not let pregnancy be an excuse to eat ice cream every night of gorge out on food, and keep up with my healthy eating habits, and try to get in an hour of excercise in each day yet 25 weeks later i still have put on 23 lbs and feel like a fat cow right now, i don't know why it keeps piling on ... but it totally blows. :?

Everyone gains weight differently, I gained all my weight in the second trimester & now have only gained 5 in the third. All together 18 lbs which doesn't seem like much but I am HUGE! Lol. Don't worry, mama. As tiny as you were pre pregnancy I'm sure you will lose your baby weight in no time. (:

lol girl ..its not as much as i gained ..hell ive been eating lots of veggies ..fruits ..and i dont deep fry my food...i stir fry my poultry since i dont really eat beef....but all in all i gain 60lbs an thats because before i got pregnant i lost over 50 lbs and well i gained it back...but heck i can tell you this i am a very determine woman when it comes to weight loss...i lost it before ...i can again...i wanted to continue dieting while pregnant but the doctor said ..no since my family has a generation of large babys 9 lbs + it wont be good for her....so here i am almost 37 weeks and a whooping 240+ lbs... and the weird thing is my husband loves the pregnant belly...heck i dont...i can manage working out as well as taking care of my new born since i raised my own sister at 3 months on my own due to a family crisis ...as long as your babies healthy heck i dont see a problem ..you can always work it off after...as well as maintain good health

I also heard breast feeding helps drop pounds, is this true? Not the only reason I'm doing it but hell, it's a plus! I just feel like such a core lately (the leaky utters don't help either). As long as my boy is healthy I'm happy, I just don't want to be as huge and miserable about my appearance as I was with son number one. <3 But my big boy is beating me up right now, off to try to sleep!
