After being with my wonderful husband for 5 1/2 years (married 3 1/2) and having 2 kids in 1 1/2 years, its taken a major toll on my weight & health.



I fell into the 'honeymoon period' after we got married, we indulged in amazing food/desserts and when our honeymoon was over it continued & the comfort factor set in.. i was loved for who i was & accepted that i no longer had anyone to impress. BIG MISTAKE.



While pregnant with Kees my appetite went crazy & i was like a never ending pit & always hungry.



I've gained easily 30kg - 66lb in those few years & have decided that there are no more excuses for being overweight and unfit.



I gave birth to our 2nd baby boy 8 weeks ago and am ready to spend time focusing on myself.



My healthy eating & excersise starts today and i'd love it if you'd follow my journey to getting my 'pre marraige, pre pregnancy' body back :) ..



I want to fit into a size 10 easily again, i want to feel good about myself, to be able to play crazily with my babies/chase my toddler and not get puffed, impress my handsome hubby & once i reach my goal i will treat myself to a holiday in thailand while getting some of the post baby damage repaired/a new set of assets. :)



I know there is no 'quick fix', but im determined and comitted.



I'll be weighing myself, taking measurements & 'before' photos tomorrow (i plan to do it once a month/once a fortnight)... if i get brave i'll post them on here so you can track my progress also.

Im feeling really positive and am totally ready for a lifestyle change :)



Last time i did this i lost 30lb in 2 months.. im VERY excited to see a change and to feel my pants get looser :)

Go u. I've got 4 weeks 2 days till baby is due. Am doin the same as you even if it kills me. U should take the pics even if u don't feel confident to put them up the now. Just wait till u do do u can show us what a sexy confident mama u are x

f**k yes!! I'm using the "lose it" app to track what I eat and then there's another free app I'm using to track measurements and weight

Monthly or Bi monthly sounds like a good idea :)
Should we take pictures of the scale and our body?
