At my 27w ultrasound my little guy was head down...
well just now at 29&2 im feeling something like bluntly poking my cervix?? like bumping it??
wth is that?!?!
Is it his hiccups?? it feels like something is trying to escape?
Im really hoping he hasnt turned.
I can tell hes not breech right now, thats for sure, so that makes me feel better at least...
but what is it?

Hi! Congrats on him being head down! That's half the battle sometimes! My little guy just turned head down sometime last week, and when he moves around, its very sharp horrible pains. So by my feelings this far along, I'm sure he's bumping into your cervix every now and then in the same way, most likely with hiccups or just general flutters. The pressure is greater when its their head. Just don't freak out about it, cause trust me, it will get worse. But just remember, if he has turned, he can turn right back around again! You got plenty of time still!

If it's hiccups you'll know. That's how I can tell when this little one is head down, lol.

thx, it was a huge relief to learn he wasnt breech. My first c/s was due to a breech presentation.
It was just so weird...it was an awkward funny feeling. Made me jump when I felt it, lol.
It didnt hurt, thankfully!

does it feel like weird bounces on your cervix area? I dont know how to describe the feeling other than really weird and awkward. lol. It makes me want to reposition myself to avoid the feeling, but that doesnt really work haha.

If it's hiccups it will be really consistent and you'll feel them right about your vagina or even at the top of your vagina. I feel sorry for this one, she gets them about every other night and they annoy me! I can't imagine how she feels. haha.

Its most likely hiccups or them just kicking around and the motion making it bump your cervix. My baby boy is so big now that his hiccups are on my cervix and his feet kick my belly right into my ribs! I woke up with rib pain this morning and I'm willing to bet he was kicking me all night!
