This is sort of a spin off of the slut post. But what is your stance for nudity in your home, or rather what do you consider needs to be for comfortable modesty in your house?

We change clothes and stuff in front of each other. But we wear clothes when around the house. DH does NOT like it when DD runs around naked, he says she's too old for that lol

Modesty is a pretty stupid concept for a child IMO. Honestly for adults I feel it is to. I don't think there is anything wrong with the human body. My kid can be in whatever state of undress she wants in our house. There is nothing wrong with it.

My DH and I sleep nude and will always do so. We shower with our kids as well. Nudity shouldn't be something to hide, it's just a body.

There is no modesty in my house, lol. My 2 year old son is naked 75% of the time. My 4 year old daughter lives in her underwear. We all co-shower, see each other naked in passing, etc. It doesn't bother us. We don't make a big deal out of being naked. It's just skin and body parts - nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed by.

Granted I do make sure my children know that outside of the house they should remain clothed, mainly because not everyone is comfortable with nudity, and that's OK, too. I think being comfortable in your own skin is important for self esteem.

Depends on who is home.
Just my hubby? I have no problem walking around nude. I wouldnt sit on the couch butt naked, but just cause my kids lay on that (And it's leather).

My boys? Theyre still super young so I walk around in my undies, no bra, but not for very long. I wouldn't hang out all morning with no shirt on.

My oldest boy (2) wears no pants a lot. He's potty training and takes his pants off to go to the washroom. If I don't put them back on him, he doesn't.

Nudity in general is not shameful and I am going to assume that anyone who is nude in front of their child is not feeling sexual and I see no issue with that. At home, we are nude quite often. I would feel a little uncomfortable if my children saw someone other than family nude, but I don't think it's "wrong" as long as it's not sexual. When it crosses the line into sexual is when it's wrong.

I don't mind nudity. I don't walk around naked because I live with my brother and that would be awkward. My son sits in the bathroom while I take a bath, I don't see a problem with that.

Yeah that was pretty much normal when we great up as well. The house was nudist in essence but I would say CO really. But being without clothes has always been considered normal here.

DD is usually just in her panties. But DH hates when she doesn't have any on. Just says he grew up in a house where you didn't really even sit around without a shirt on.

Thats so funny because I was raised very differently. When we were nude as children, my dad was always like "If I see something I haven't seen before, I'll holler!".

My husband and I stay mostly clothed (at least the important parts). My daughter is only 11 months so I have no problems changing in front of her but other than that, I at least have a baggy shirt on and underwear. My husband hangs out in his underwear all time at home but he won't go below that in front of her. Not that she knows the difference, it's just weird for him lol. But we both bathe with her whenever she takes one no problem. We just don't let it all hang out 24/7. We keep her dressed as much as possible for warmth and also so she doesn't pee and poop everywhere. lol

LOL. Yeah I always found it odd going over my one friends house as a kid because her house was modest plus.

Same here. I grew up in an area that was very conservative and that just wasn't done - but my family has always been very OK with things like that, I guess. When we had certain friends over to our house, even, my mom made sure we were clothed at least most of the way because their families were more modest than we were.
