i am telling you as someone who is going to school to be an OBGYN that it is the best choice to get the test done.

Sorry OP but you're being insanely stupid and selfish right now. I'm not overweight at all, and I have GD. If you don't keep it under control, your babies shoulders could get too big and he/she could get stuck, which could result in an emergency C-section or death.



The point of testing for this shit, and going to prenatal appointments, is to make sure both you and your baby are as healthy as you can be. It's not like they just draw your blood for shits and giggles. Right now, you THINK you're making a good choice, but you're really making a very stupid choice that could get both you and your baby killed if you DO have GD and it gets too far out of control. And it could have been prevented by drinking a cup of juice and getting your blood drawn and changing your diet accordingly.



I'm not saying you definitely have it, and that you and your baby are going to die, but there is that possibility. Do you really want to take that chance?
