you do know there is no evidence to back up what everyone is saying...yes it may give you the shits..but rarley is there anyharm done to the baby...
ppl just fly of the handle with this one all the time



do some research, it can be ok to do...if your Dr Midwife ok'd it.. its better then a PIT or C section....

this is true! its not the oil itself that causes the baby to pass its first bm, it actually doesnt cross the placenta, its the extreme bowel contractions that can stress the baby out and cause him or her to have a bm. my midwife uses it to induce labor for over due moms.

The doula and i talked about that this evening, she was telling me there was so mis information given out a few years ago. Tonight she brought me my evening primrose oil to start using. i dont know if the cramping that just started is from that or the pressure point massage my neighbor, who is a massage therpist trained in prenatal massage, gave me.

Massaging calves and wrista can help with labor.
