I go in tomorrow night to be induced. (PIH) My midwife told me to eat before I go in because they won't let me eat once they start the induction. She also said not to eat my favorite thing, because if I puke it won't be my favorite thing anymore.lol
I am thinking Golden Corral sounds tasty, what did you have to eat before your labor? Oh and how long after the baby was born did they make you wait to be able to eat?
Nothing with K. Chipotle with M. I wanted Chipotle so badly and it was so good. Luckily I dont tend to throw up in labor.
Old Country Buffet with my first 2 and I don't remember with my last one.
Nothing .. I couldn't really eat. They tried to get me to eat/drink some light stuff during labor and even drinking OJ was making me want to puke. I had some honey straws. I was so tired already that being hungry just made it worse.
Steak and Shake. Mmmmmmmmm.
That milkshake really hit the spot before labor lol.
Quoting ☮Sugar Magnolia:" Steak and Shake. Mmmmmmmmm. That milkshake really hit the spot before labor lol."
That sounds good, unfortunately we don't have one around here.
a bagel...biggest mistake ever seeing how i threw up most of the time i was in labor.
I don't remember what I ate before I went into labor. But when I was ready to go to the hospital (at 4 cm with contractions 1 minute long) I had some Hooters hot wings
I ate; Taco Time on the way to the hospital (induction). Chicken Alfred twice between 2pm-10pm. Chicken noodle soup from midnight till noon the next day. Then frozen italian ices till I had him at 8pm. I was eating Italian Ices all the way though. But they finally stopped me from eating "real food" at noon, when they realized I was on PIT and wasn't supposed to be eat.. Someone didn't change my "dietary plan" lmao it was great, and I didn't puke anything up! So it didn't matter.
I had a subway sandwich in the middle of labor lol. I labored at home for 30 hours before going to the hospital. Ill be damned if someone says I cant eat lol
I didn't eat anything before I went in. I had her at 4:17PM and around 5:30 SO went out and brought me back a huge steak and lobster dinner. Best freaking meal of my life.
I was thinking some sushi sounded good, but I don't want to be throwing up wasabi..lol
I didnt feel like eating at all but forced myself to eat a sandwich when my contractions started. when I went into the hospital they said I could eat jello but once I got the epidural I started throwing up. Just be sure to drink water before you go in because apparently I was dehydrated and it was really hard for them to find a vain to put any of the IVs in and that was not fun.
i ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich while i was running out the door in labor. i puked that back up about 4 hours later and i still eat peanut butter and jelly. whatever you decide to eat make sure your full thats all i can say because i was starving the entire time i was in labor.
