Most definitely. That "stress on baby" line is horseshit

It's not advised to quit cold turkey at any week during a pregnancy or in general. Wean yourself.

I would cut down slowly. Some people can handle cold turkey and some may not.

Well I normally smoke 4 or 5 cigs a day at school and quit fri-sun.
So pretty much anytime I am at home and with my son.

I've just smoked the last of my pack and I really don't want to buy another.
I also feel like I won't ever quit if I do it like that.

I quit cold turkey when I found out I was pregnant. My kids are healthy.

I wouldn't see why not. I quit cold turkey at idk maybe 7 weeks? I didn't have stress or anything... i didn't even think about cigarettes. Those who say "you're supposed to quit slowly" just don't want to give up their addiction.

You would most likely be just fine to quit cold turkey.. 4-5 a day is not alot at all.

It depends on how much a day you smoke. Even if you're not pregnant, cold turkey is not recommended for moderate to heavy smokers.

I didn't know this when I went cold turkey and switched to smokeless synthetic nicotine e-cigs, and I got very, very sick for over a month before we figured out what was wrong with me. The same thing had happened to my mom when she quit. Going back to light smoking and stepping down from there cleared up my problems immediately

I quit cold turkey both times. I was a pack a day smoker. With my son I was 7 weeks, I was only 5 weeks with my daughter.

I smoke 4-5 cigs a day except on fri-sun and at night I also don't smoke.
