Hashtag is basically a tag with a hash in front. AKA #snooki will be on anything about Snooki from Jersey Shore. It's a bad name but you never know could be the beginning of a trend. She'll be friends with Comment, Share and Settings :P

# this is a hash sign.

I'm not big on Twitter either, but I believe it's used to "tag" topics.

Hence why it's called a #hashtag. It groups like topics together, I guess.

<blockquote><b>Quoting Chelsea Dawns Mama:</b>" I agree with the changing it thing, but how in the HELL is that considered abuse?? :?"</blockquote>

Maybe because they're setting the kids up with some major issues & they'll probably be severely bullied for having a stupid name.

Kids are severely bullied for alot of things, even some kids with common naes, or because of their last name, which they cannot control. SO and i are overwieght, which increases the chances that LO will be too. So thats something she may be bullied about, as well as her last nae. Does tht equal child abuse too? Hardly.
