Quinn was my top girl's name :D But he said hell no, it's a guys name. So when we found out it was a boy, made it back on the list :D and now it's the one he likes!

If he likes Afton, suggest Axton---that's my son's name and the kid is bound to grow up awesome, just like my Ax ;)

I like them all but my favorite is Quinn!

Annnd I hate your SO's pick!

I don't know what guys are thinking sometimes....My husband and I were talking about names recently and he mentioned the name Daleilah, after his dad whose middle name is Dale. Not Delilah, DALEilah....I told him the next pick is his, but that's not going to fly, nothing cray cray lol!

Quoting KNZ.:" I looooove Oliver, hands down. I'm so glad you said that though, i didn't put both kid's names cos i ... [snip!] ... to automatically vote for the C name :P I think Oliver sounds cute with their names too :) Cater Daniel Clara Elizabeth "

With names like Carter Daniel & Clara Elizabeth, you can't use Oliver Afton. Lol.

According to Nameberry, Afton is more commonly used on girls. If you tell him that, maybe he'll reconsider sticking it on a boy.

Does he have any other relatives who's names you like?

DH wanted to name our daughter after his sister that passed a couple years ago. He wanted to throw Jenell (spelled that way) into her name. I didn't think it flowed with Alba and I hate that spelling, so I kinda just skipped over it and tried convincing him on Johanna. I finally convinced him to stick with Johanna once I dug up that Janelle and Johanna are derived from the same name (Jane...which really came from John), and thus have similar meanings (Janelle means "God's gracious gift" and Johanna means "God is gracious"). Do you think you could find one of his relatives names that has a good, classic variant, since Daniel & Elizabeth are such classic names?
