No I don't think it's tacky. For my son's party I said they could RSVP by texting, calling, or emailing either my husband or I and gave call the information. We invited 25 kids and only 3 RSVPed and only 5 showed up. Not RSVPing, IMO, is tacky.

I'm expecting like 10 to show up, which is fine, because it's cheaper.
