<blockquote><b>Quoting MommaSav2:</b>" My first one was a surprise. Having a baby is an amazing moment either way, we won't keep it a secret ... [snip!] ... prepared, not having information he COULD have drives him nuts so I understand completely where your husband is coming from."</blockquote>

He is definitely a planner.. But really we have nothing to plan for. The only difference in not finding out is that we would wait to do the nursery after the baby is born.. Which I'm totally fine with since we are closing on our home in two weeks, I have plenty of other things to do to keep me busy

She my husband would not be alright with being able to have everything ready for baby. When he found out about number three he immediately purchased a new bassinet and a bunch or cloth diaper inserts (waiting for gender to buy covers) and stuff like that. But when we find out what it is we have to figure out the rooming situation in our house. If its a boy we will switch the kids' rooms so the two boys have the bigger room and right now dd is in the bigger room (even though really dd still consleeps and new baby will as well for a ehile) We also have to get th play room set up for the their child. We just like to have things done in plenty of time. Kwim?

Oh we wouldn't have to change a thing! All we need are a bssinet, carseat and diapers all of which are gender neutral .. My case to my husband lol
Knowing, not knowing, wouldn't change a thing for us.

Then do the bedroom as a family ... we love weekend projects :)

I see. Well hopefully you'll come to a compromise. My bother and his wife are expecting their third and already have one of each, so they were going to keep it a secret. But they had the ultrasound tech put it in an envelope in case they wants to find out down the line, and they literally opened it as soon as they got to their car! Lol they just couldn't handle not knowing. Haha

I "think" I know.. But not 100%
It's like I got a hint and kinda cheated, but not totally.. I almost want to get away with it. Lol this could turn into a fun game now, I'm terribly impatient

How far along were you with your two conflicting scans? What do you think it is?

One was sixteen and the other was seventeen weeks. I think it may be a boy, but I'm not for certain, the baby's cord is wrapped in between the legs pretty good.
I have a redo appointment next week, but I want to cancel it.
