Have you tried google? I had a friend that did find a program here in Minnesota. She typed in eating disorder Minnesota and found the Emily program. It's going well for her. She had started out when she checked in 5'7" and 73 pounds. She almost died. She has been in it since October and it's been a really hard journey for her and her family to go through, and her frinds (including me) too.

An eating treatment center would be ideal because they have nutritionists and therapists and psychiatrists all in one building.
Good luck. I am a recovered bulimic and am SO glad I got help even though the voice in the back of my head kept screaming I was too fat to qualify.

I'm in Indianapolis. And thats exactly what I used to do. I'd starve myself to breaking point and then binge like hell. And I'd also wake up some mornings feeling fuller than I should and lo and behold I was sleep-eating. No bueno. I learned a lot in treatment (at Charis Center at Methodist) but the most important thing I learned is that food/calories aren't the enemy and eating regularly can be really a good thing.

Well i'm really super overweight because I don't purge, just binge so I feel kind of stupid.going to a clinic for people with eating disorders but I know my food issues are do to mental health issues and stuff fr my.chilshood.

I am by NO means thin, and I'm not going to lie, it was a little weird sitting next to 80lb girls talking about my issues but ultimately it helped me to see that their issues and mine were not all that different. You don't have to be a certain weight to have eating problems. If you're really anxious about it, you could see a therapist and a nutritionist separately and tell them both what's up.
Wish you the best mama.
