i just got a tetanus and typhoid vaccines and my arm hurts like hell! i cant even move it with out wanting to cry from the pain. i know soreness is normal, but is it normal for it to hurt this bad?

sure is... take some tylenol and just relax :) injections can feel like someone has punched you with all their might in your arm... they go right into the muscle so of course it will hurt :)

Sometimes it can hurt very bad after. Mostly if you did not move the arm much after the shot.

One time when I have back surgery I asked for a flu vaccine before I left. I went to sleep because I was on strong meds at the hospital.

When I went home that damn shot hurt more then the back after a huge surgery!
