Looks like no ones been in there since November. But it's worth it to at least read in there some and to post and see if anyone else will go back in there. I found it really helpful when I was pregnant with my last LO

I havent read the whole thread.. just your initial post OP.

I was the exact same when pregnant with our son.

If you want the baby then speak to your DR, tell them you cant handle it & you're thinking of termination as last resort because you're not coping and feel so sick you have had to give your job up etc,

Ask for zofran wafers, nexium or zantac and take mylanta liquid also.

it'll help you feel semi normal.

it helped me amazingly! - i had badddd morning sickness right up until i delievered and had to quit my job because of it also - i worked in a call centre and was having to put customers on hold to be sick or run to the bathroom if i could make it.

Hang in there mama!!

(they prescribed me maxolon pills initially and it didnt do anything.. zofran was great, especially in combo with a maxolon injection!!)

I really am trying to be nice. But you think killing your child is a solution to your discomfort? Would you kill your daughter because she was giving you a headache or gave you the flu that made you very ill? You think it's different just because you haven't seen this child face-to-face yet? Just a different perspective to think about.

It is not yet a child, it is a fetus.

Same thing. The baby has a heart beat, a gender, a brain, etc.

Its really not the same thing. Its still just a fetus. And to tell a women who is struggling with this that she would be "killing a child" is pretty cruel, regardless of how nice you were trying to be.

Please, please don't take this the wrong way. =] I really don't understand. If it has all those things, how ISN'T it a child? I'm just trying to understand your perspective. And I'm not trying to change your views, I realize that it's extremely unlikely. I just like people to see every side of decisions and perspectives.
To me, if you child is receiving it's nutrition from you, if you're keeping his or her heart beating. If he or she is growing because of your hormones, if he or she has your nose, or daddy's lips or grandpas hairline ;) how is said baby NOT a child?

Because its living because of YOU. At this point it cannot function on its own outside the womb. It is not a baby till it is born. Till then it is a fetus.
