What's your favorite kind? Mine is Granny Smith. Mmmm...I'm stuffing my face with them right now.

Granny Smith for baking and Apple Salsa, Fuji apples for my crunching pleasure. Those, or Yellow Delicious.

Those are pretty good too. I like almost any kind of apple, unless it's really tart. I like to bake with those kind.

Taken from a website "sweetness, firmness, and tartness make it an ideal apple for eating raw. The Honeycrisp also retains its pigment well and boasts a relatively long shelf life when stored in cool, dry conditions."

Its very sweet and crunchy...its perfect for slicing and it always had such a great flavor. lol

I didnt know that you were supposed to bake with tart apples like granny smith. lol. I've always used regular apples for pies and they've never been good. Now I know why.
