I took a picture last night and made a few edits to it for a pregnancy announcement. I need one of you photography experts or someone who is good at editing pics to tell me if any of my edits look good or maybe give help me out and show me something you could do with it. I'd realllllly appreciate it!

Here is the original:

And my two edits:

Well thank you! I had to just take the pic myself because I moved away from my best friend/photographer. lol.

Yea I only have picasa right now so I feel like someone who does this all the time would probably find a way to make it look awesome.

It's very cute, but those pictures are way over edited. Keep the edits simple!

Well what I was trying to do was somehow warm it without it looking ugly. If you can see in the original the baby booties look so light and you can't see them very well. I agree, I was trying not to make them look super edited but it was hard lol. I am going to take more pictures later if I can find a better spot somewhere.

Just an idea.

I just saw this...but thought maybe trying a different surface other than grass would help. I would prop all the shoes on a log and take a picture...it would add more dimension to the pic while still being a textured but more solidly colored background.

I was actually thinking about doing that also. Thanks for the tip! :)
