Quoting *Lindsey*(14 weeks):" We did it for our first daughter, Her middle name is my grammas first name. She passed away last year ... [snip!] ... with our second her name means nothing to us. Not the first or middle. We love it of coarse but it has no meaning behind it. "

That's how we want it with these babies. I want my reason to be "because I liked it." Silas' first name we just liked, even though for some reason my dad's side of the family insists that it was a variation of my grandma's maiden name which had absolutely nothing to do with it lol.

I have no idea why people put so much thought into my kid's name. Probably because I'm the only one in the family having any in the last 10 years.

Ladies- I am having such a horrible day. I had a dog, had him 9 years. Since I got pregnant with Ellyanna- back in December 2011- he had behome uncontrolable. He started snapping at me and pooping in the house. Both are dominating behaviors. We tried obedience training (I am a cerified dog trainer) but we went to outside sources & even our vet (to see if the behavior was medically caused). The behavior has not changed & last night he snapped at me when my daughter was standing right there. I took him to the shelter today. I am heartbroken :( I know I exhausted all options to keep him & I know I did the right thing to protect my child- but I have volunteered at shelters my whole life & I never thought I would be the one to desert my dog. I can't stop crying.

We are set on a boy's name. We have two girl choices we are set on and just need to solidify which one but I think we have pretty much decided. We don't tell anyone our name choices until birth. Not even my BG ladies. It is too much fun announcing! Haha.

I dont like telling either, but both times we havent picked a name till baby was born. our last baby we never picked till like 5 mins before we left the hospital and the name we picked wasnt even on our list and we hadnt even mentioned it or thought about it. I spend the whole next day sitting in bed reading a baby name book at the hospital...what a waste!

Haha. Yep. I will even mention names I like but never ones that are actually in the running.

Fingers crossed everyone gets what they want! I'm going crazy waiting to find out. I'm too early to even do an elective scan... This is our last and we have a girl who's 3... we really want a boy!

Eri: I only need to name one and I still can't do that. lol

Names: Maddy's is full of meaning. Lynn is my MIL, SIL, and sister's middle name. Ann is my Mom's and I's middle name. She was going to be Kaylynn (Kay is my Gram's nickname who practically raised me). Sadly SIL picked Kaydence for her daughter already so I couldn't. This baby, if it's a girl, will probably get Catherine as a MN since it's my Gram's MN. If it's a boy, it gets James. Hubby's dad and his MN is James.

Kara: I"m sorry that happened. I had to give up a cat for a similar reason. We got it when DD was 1.5. The cat literally attacked us scratching. I got her claw covers so she would bite instead. My daughter did get rough so I couldn't blame the cat... but it was a huge stress on everyone so we decided to give her up. We knew the shelter had a woman waiting for a calico adult to come in so she went to a home without kids. Much better for her. Hopefully you're dog can find a forever home without kids and live happily ever after. *hug*

what im thinking is maybe it means the wand is closer to the babies heart when i move it therefore its louder and way faster.
