I feel soo bad cuz I wish I felt more cnnected to my baby :(,,,I love her eventhough I was really hoping for a boy I am happy my now 1yrold will have a sister. Name picked already it is Jacqueline Naomi,,,I feel guilty cuz my bbygirl just turned 1 and we weren't expecting to get pregnant sooo soon. I mean she is still my little bby and I was so excited when I was pregnant with her eventhough she wasn't planned either. Honestly for 2 and yrs me and my husband never used bc and I though I couldn't have kids. Then I was sooo happy to find out I was pregnant eventhough we werent married yet. But this time I don't feel so excited and i feel horrible,,I really love my bbygirl growing and moving inside me I just feel not as excited as the first time around :(

Ok, another question for all you CDing mamas. I got in a used fuzzibunz and since I figured it didn't need prepping and it looked and smelled clean, so I just washed it and popped it on LO. She loved wearing it (now she only wants to wear cloth, so I'm prepping the rest right now) and it held up great! No leaks even though she fell asleep around the time I had planned to change her and wound up wearing it for like 6 hours.

The issue is that when I went to take it off it smelled bizarre. Like... shrimp... kind of? It was pretty weird. Is that a normal smell when using cloth or did this diaper maybe need stripping or something?

Because it is used, I would recommend stripping them first. You don't know how they were used/treated before you got them, so it's best to strip them.

Try this... this is what I do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPv1F8XHDs0
**Fuzzibunz recommends something very similar.

Also, CD does smell a tad different because there aren't chemicals to disguise the urine smell.
