Quoting *Lindsey*(20 weeks):" wow yeah that is serious haha. Not like that here at all! but i do find alot of things weird about here ... [snip!] ... on me with my last pregnancy. my sil asked me about it cause she was gbs+ with her last baby and i was like huh whats that lol"

Oh, wow, that seems unsafe. I was GBS+ with DS and they told me a bunch of things that could happen as a result and explained that I'd be on an IV for that. It's like a quick swab test, too, weird that they didn't do it.

Quoting *Lindsey*(20 weeks):" yup my sil was hooked up through her whole labour so couldnt even walk around really. I cant member ... [snip!] ... so im not sure if he had planned on testing at the next appt. But i woulda been 38 weeks adn i dont think they do it that late."

I'm sure they can still do it at 38 weeks if they hadn't yet tested you. I was GBS+ with Jake, but negative with Mallory. Before I had him, they made sure I got a full bag or two of IV antibiotics.

I think with Silas they had me on the IV until I got a certain amount, then they capped it and let me walk around for an hour or so before they kept a full course running. That may not have been their original plan, though, because I went in to be induced and ended up going into active labor on my own before we started haha.

Quoting Kristin♥Kaleb:" I dont see why yall are arguing with her.... "

Not arguing at all...just saying it is very very possible that they have all of the infortmation they need to determine that baby is healthy. It doesn't take long to do it. If anything, I'm trying to help put her mind at ease, because odds are that even if she does change doctors over this, they aren't going to do another ultrasound. They will share her file, which will include all of the infortmation regarding the ultrasound, and the new doctor will have the needed info - just as her current doctor does.

Totally skipping an anatomy scan without having the needed information, would open them up to lawsuit. Doctors don't do that when it could be so easily prevented. However, changing doctors every time you disagree with them, isn't going to get anyone anywhere.

OK heres my 18 week pic and my 20 week 4 day pic(taken today)
I took a few pics and noticed that just by one tiny little angle change can make a person look so much smaller...so i posted them both.
I think i was bigger 2 1/2 weeks ago! haha

I will be really disappointed if my anatomy scan is as quick as some of yours. My last one was like 45 minutes or more. Granted, there was a student in the room plus my mom and sister, so the tech was going over every little thing and kind of playing around a little letting us watch her wiggle around. I don't expect this one to be quite that long, but I'm really looking forward to seeing LO. He/She has settled onto my hip today and it is highly uncomfortable. No amount of poking or prodding is getting this kid to budge, either (DD was the same way). I got one little poke back as if to say "I'm comfy and not moving; Get over it!". :P

All these belly pictures! :D Cuteness.
