I really have no desire to go early. I hit 36 weeks tomorrow. I more just want the time to speed up so my due date will get here quicker. I am just hoping George decides to make his appearance when my parents are here. My mom has blocked off the week before and the week of my due date, but she can only actually take one week. I would love my mom to be able to be in the delivery room with me and my hubby. She is an OB nurse and would tell me the truth. Plus then my dad can watch CJ at my place instead of me having to either bother my friend or my neighbor.

Hey ladies..
I thought I was going into labor last night because of all the pressure I was feeling and the twinges of pain that surge through my leg. Ugh. But alas, no labor.. I am happy about that though because like I said before I want to wait until at least the 26th lol. My appt on the 20th I go in and my Ob is going to strip my membranes and Im terrified I will go into labor that weekend and ruin my step mom's weekend plans.. How lame does that sound? Sometimes I feel like my parents taking my 3 kids is such a burden to them.
Phuket-- You dont have family around to watch your 3 kids while you give birth right? Is your SO going to stay with them while you are in labor? Just curious :)

My friend is going to be my on call person. BUT I just found out my grandma in WA wants to fly down and help me! So if I don't go a week or two early she will come down before my due date and help while I'm in labor and stay for a couple weeks! I thought it was so nice of her :)

BUT worse case. We pile the family in the car and my grandma and grandpa watch them at the hospital. It's all up in the air still. Depends on the time and day lol

Walking: OMG... I still don't mind walking (waddling haha)... but the heat down here... seriously x-x and my AC in my car is still busted so I can't really drive any where comfortably. >_<

Eri: Every other day! Ouch... whatever it takes I guess but that'd blow. *hug*

Dylans: I didn't lose sex drive with DD1 or this pregnancy. It's getting to the point where I'm questioning if I want to do it again until the end... but man... I do love sex. lol I can't do on top, hurts my hips too much... but doggie alll dayyyy. lol DH can't even keep up with me. But this isn't more than usual, it's normal for me.

Cribs: I don't have mine yet either... Not for another few weeks. x-x I'm fortunate to get a baby shower but man, I'll be 37+3days on my shower. Oh well, I'll have one big shopping trip afterward.

Jessie: I wish we could in missionary... doggie is getting boring... but I suffocate on my back and he ends to squish my belly x-x

Kristen: Oh man... No suggestions but feel better soon. I dunno if you can get clogged ducts before your actual milk comes in. Maybe call an LC?

Only my first slept in a crib! Otherwise baby is in the Bassinett first couple months, and then in the pack and play. And the sometime after their first birthday.. Big kid bed!!!

I turned my crib into a diaper drying station! Lol

Ugh. Seems this pregnancy is dragging. Finally hit full term and now I feel like I'm twiddling my thumbs :/

Sleeping arrangements: DS1 slept in his crib right next to my bed for the first year. After that he got a twin size bed and that was that. This time I have a bassinet next to the bed and we will probably use that until we get a good night sleeping routine down, then into his own room.

Question: does it make me crazy to ask friends and family to leave us alone for 8-12 weeks? I'm catching a lot of hell because I REALLY want this time for our family to bond. With DH only taking off like 2-3 days for the birth, every family moment is precious... Plus I don't want to have to entertain people while recovering or have to babysit then because half of them don't know how to hold a newborn (which scares the shit out of me honestly!)

Do you mean 8-12 days? lol 12 weeks seems kinda long your baby will be like 3 months old by then! haha
I know that if i said that to friends and family around here they would think im crazy. I would never ask my family to stay away for that long anyways they are a big part of our lives.
The people that dont know how to hold a newborn maybe you could show how you want baby to be held. Everyone has differant ways of doing things that might not be the same as yours. Im sure the visiting would slow down too i know that we get visitors for the first week or so then its like i didnt even have a baby lol

My hips and pelvis bone hurt after we're done when I'm on top but they do fine during thank goodness. You're lucky your sex drive is still there, but we're all different. We're having a shower too that no one is helping us with :( I have to call the lady who's house we were doing it at because my MIL said she has no idea what's going on. Ours isn't this coming weekend but the next on the 30th. I hope a lot of ppl show up and I hope that we get a lot of stuff that we need but we'll see.

Beer and Diaper Party went fantastic! We got TONS of diapers in a variety of sizes all the way up to size four! My daughter and I had a great playdate with a friend while it all went down. We have TONS of leftover food though. haha......pretty sure no beer is left ;).

My daughter HATED her bassinet so we co-slept until 2/3 months. At that point she moved into her own room with a crib. Then I got divorced and she was having troubles with it at about 7 months so for about a month we did on and off co-sleeping with her in a pack and play (I didn't have my own apartment yet and was with my parents). At about 12-14 months she moved into a toddler bed (since my crib does the 3 in 1 thing). Then we just got her a twin bed at age 3 from Santa Claus.

The plan with this baby is similar. Bassinet (*crossing fingers*) until 2-3 months. Crib but with no disruptions this time obviously.

We got our diaper changing table pad yesterday as a gift so now we are just waiting on baby! Everything is all set up. YAY!
