Quoting ☮ Phuket:" So I'm being induced tomorrow and scared shitless. Going in in the morning after 730 as long as they ... [snip!] ... swept and stretched today too. I'm 4cm! I'm so glad I cleaned today and got everything ready. Like washing the carseat lol"

I'm sure everything will go great!! I did that on Sunday. Cleaned the car seat, stroller, high chair, bouncer thing, all tummy time mats, and blankets. Just in case it's nice to be prepared! I'll be keeping you in my prayers, I hope there are beds and that everything goes smoothly!!

I know right! I sent out a mass text: "We appreciate that you are all excited about the impending arrival of Liam, but I am feeling a little overwhelmed with all the questions about when I will labor or if I am etc. Will and I will be sending out a mass message as soon as we have a chance when we have news. Until then, know that you won't miss anything. I'm sorry if this comes off abrupt, but between Will and I we are getting asked several times a day. Thank you for understanding. "

Hoping that doesn't cause my DH anymore stress but still gets the point across. I can't really blow up at them since my MIL is already in DH ear telling him how horrible it is that I need some space from her

That sounds like a nice way to say what you needed and wanted to say. They need to get over it!! It's not about them! It's about you, Will, and YOUR family together! They need to feel lucky that they're even being allowed to be a part of it.

That really sucks that she is being a pain in the a** even when she is not in the same city as you.

Well glad someone agrees lol. DH thinks I'm a bit hormonal about it all, but he's siding with me for now. I explained that I just like our privacy and I was tired of being asked when I planned on going into labor... As if I can plan it... Which they don't know about the induction Friday (which is how I'd like it to stay... They'd prob find a way to show up at the hospital against our wishes lol)

I felt this exact same way.. Honestly I was more nervous about this labor then I was with the first one haha... I kept thinking since we are done having babies that this labor would be absolutely HORRIBLE.. But it actually went great ;) I still need to get around to writing out the whole birth story but I've been soo exhausted and getting ready for classes that start tomorrow morning ahh....

Thanks :) I tried. I hate making DH look bad... And with my blunt attitude that's easy to do so I try and temper it :p

Just wanted to update everyone. They admitted me to L&D at 5pm and it is now 11:18. They STILL have not started me on pitocin. :? I'm getting impatient (and hungry!).

The good news is that we missed a*****e Dr. and now have an awesome dr! He came in and talked to me for a long time and was completely fine with letting me do a trial labor. His exact words were "It's your body, you can do whatever YOU want!". He said that the other doctor had left a note that I needed a c-section because the baby was big and said that he thought that was ridiculous. He also said that the nurses weren't going to be too enthusiastic about it but to stick to my guns and call him if I needed to. I brought up wanting to delay the cord clamping and all of that and he was fine with all of it. Apparently his wife is very pro natural childbirth and all that goes with it and so he seems to be as well. Yay! I'm so happy I got him. Now just waiting for them to get in here and get this show on the road or at least let me eat....

Congrats everyone who has had their babies :)

I don't feel like every detail is necessary so I'll give a quick labor story.

So I went to the hospital at 730am on the 5th to be induced. I got to my room, stripped down, and answered all the dumb questions the nurse asked me. My doctor came in at about 930 and inserted a quarter tablet of cytotec into my vag. I had to let that sit for an hour, then walk for an hour. SO and I walked around the hospital in my sexy gown from 1030 to 1130. I got back to the room and watched tv. I was having contractions but not anything unbearable. At 100 the doctor came in and checked me and I was barely dilated to a 3, so she asked if I would walk more. Sure. We started walking again but I barely made it down the hall from l&d and my water broke. It was disgusting, I had to walk all the way back to my room with shit pouring down my legs and people watching me cry and laugh at the same time. After that I started contracting really hard. I asked for the epidural at 330 and I was dilated to 5. By 500 I was dilated to 7, and by 630 I was dilated to 9. At 7 I felt a lot of pressure like I had to poop so the doctor came in and said it was time to push. I didn't start pushing till 715 because I was scared lol. So I pushed and pushed and at 855 JJ finally came into the world. 8lbs 11.5oz.
We barely got home last night at 5 because both he and I had a fever when he was born so he had to be there for 48 hours, and then we had to wait till monday for the circ.
