My son decided to wake up on and off starting at 11:30 and didn't stay down until about 0130 and I don't think I could fall back to sleep until 0200 or 0230. I don't know what time he woke up but I know it was probably around 0600. Luckily after a quick bathroom break at 0700 I convinced him to stay in my room until 0900.

OMG my hips hurt so bad today and my RLS is still flaring up since last night. I just popped more Tylenol to see if that will help. I don't think I will be able to carry my son upstairs for nap time today, oh well I will just have him sleep on the couch.

I am glad this should be the last day that I am by myself during the day for about the next 2 to 3 weeks. My parents are coming tomorrow and once Baby George is here, DH will start his paternity leave once I either go into labor or go in for an induction. I just hope this hip pain goes away quickly.

Unfortunately it is a little difficult to predict how many women will walk through L&D doors on a daily basis in labor or having other issues that need to be monitor. Plus it is also a little difficult to predict how long each labor will last and when the mothers and babies will be able to go home. It is kind of like predicting the weather.

My place won't even put me on the schedule until my 40 week appt (which is on the 18th and I will technically be 40 +4). I kind of feel like I will be pregnant forever :(

Oh my gosh I hope that hip pain goes away too!! Try to get a nap in while he sleeps too, that was my favorite time when Dylan was younger. He doesn't take naps anymore but at least he lets me take them :) I wouldn't carry him up the stairs either, it's not worth it!

It depends on how high of a dose they are giving you. They are probably starting you on a low dose to see how your body responds to it.

I want to take a nap but the only comfortable place for me to sleep is upstairs. My son will freak if he wakes up and I am not downstairs with him. I might just have to suck it up and put him in his bed. Even if I can't sleep I might be able to get in the bath tub and see if that relieves any of the pain.

Dylan: Ah I had no issue BFing my first physically so I don't anticipate a problem this time. Good thing, I can't afford formula and won't qualify for WIC after my medicaid runs out. I don't know how people afford that stuff without WIC. Dear lord.

All that stuff I had already. I saved my maternity stuff from DD haha. I'll just have to get nursing bras later. I have a few that still semi fit so hopefully they will after my milk comes and I can alter them into nursing bras. The Mumu was only $12 and I don't have a robe anymore so...

I had been having light pains at like 8pm but they just felt like the Braxton hicks ones that I had been getting for weeks. Around 12:45 I had 2 that hurt a bit more and I thought well I might as well go get checked just in case. I drove myself there, wasn't in pain as soon as I layed down to get hooked up I was like I need to push now... haha
they just kept an eye on him, he said it wasn't the first time that its happened and usually they are more concerned with getting the iv if the water has broke. My water broke and he literally came out a minute later...so he wasn't in there unprotected long lol

Ohhhhh, so the concern is him being in the birthing canal. Makes sense. Glad he's OK and your labor was easy!
