I always just feed before we go. and he always falls asleep in his carseat and stays sleeping the whole time were out whether its one hour or 5 hours. Then usually sleeps in his carseat in the house for a while too after we get home.

Yes, she always told people about him, just like any of her other siblings. Growing up she had a younger sister who was born a year or two after him. They also told the younger sister about him when she was old enough to understand (I think she was 4 or so when they explained it). They bought her a doll, which they named after him (Tyler), to kind of help her grasp the concept and showed her pictures. They both celebrate his birthday every year with their mom. :)

Lucky! This kid is serious about his eating schedule. Every two hours, like clockwork, in the carseat or not. It's just that sometimes it's more than every two hours that's the issue. He insisted on me being a pacifier yesterday. The good news is that most nights he sleeps pretty well. I think he slept for 5 hours last night and then after he ate he slept for another 4. :)

Is that after insurance? Cuz that is awesome!

I'm on medicaid. We missed DH's work enrollment last year and even if I was on it they wouldn't cover maternity expenses. I'm super thankful for medicaid cuz my summary of charges came in the other day - over $26,000 for my part and $2,000 for baby's. Eek.

Oh good lord! Yes that is after the insurance payment. I was surprised how much they actually covered! My OB fees were more than that. haha :) But those are already paid because they have you pay those prior to 7 months pregnant.

Tell me about it! When DD was born I think my part of the bill was $16,000 and hers was $14,000, but she had a 6 day stay, 4 of which were in the NICU and two in the intermediate care nursery.

Maybe I should think about becoming a doctor... Or owning a hospital, anyhow. lol
