I'll have to try one.

I hear that. I have a ring sling I made. Its way too hot to baby wear most ofthe time though.

Same here, I dropped to 255 but went back to 260 :(

I got a baby feeding tracker app a few days ago, confirms what I thought. He still eats every two hours, he is almost two months. At least there is more a rhythm to it all. But I really would love to go 3 hours every feeding!!

My baby eats every two hours still.

My first daughter was a snacker breastfeeder so be thankful. haha. She ate literally ever 30 minutes to an hour until she was about 6 months old!

I am very lucky because my mom and I parent very similar. I am just a little stricter but that makes since because she is Grandma! Plus my mom is still in parenting mode since 3 of my siblings are still home. Two of them are 17 and 18 but my little brother is still just 10.

I think Liam may be a snacker.... that booger eats every 45 min! I think it may be a growth spurt, but still... its killing me! With not sleeping much IDK how I am going to get through this semester.

Aaron has days where he does that and it is awful! He did it all the time for the first month but thankfully he has slowed down some. He still eats about every 2 hours during the day, but he goes 3-5 hours usually at night.

I alternate breasts every time I feed. So left one feeding and right the next.

Well, last night Alice slept for three five hour stretches and my left side got VERY full so I fed her twice on that side and once on the right. Then I forgot what side I fed her on and fed her on the left AGAIN at 11 am. Now my right side is dying and she is super sleepy! I think I may need to pump some for relief. It is killing me!!!

Also, I don't like to fully nurse in public. I always use a cover. I don't care if others do it. It is just about my own comfort level. Anyhow, I saw this cover on Pinterest:
4c8b4a902fd69d607e8b3d14559c6590.jpg
and thought "I want!" because when baby gets older there is NO way for accidental exposure and I resolved to ask my MIL to sew this for me (I could probably do this but I wanted to make sure it came out PERFECT). I went to WalMart and picked out my main fabric and spent a long time choosing my accent fabric. Then I honked the horn for assistance. Five minutes goes by. Nothing. I honked it again. Five more minutes goes by. Nothing. So I go up front and find a manager and kindly say "I honked the horn twice in the fabric section and no has come by. Can you send someone back?" She says sure. So I go back to the fabric section. Five MORE minutes goes by. Nothing. I finally just take the fabrics and all supplies for the project out of my cart and leave it on the cutting table. I figure if they can't assist me they can put the stuff away. I was very frustrated! If they were very busy and just said "we are very busy and will send someone back once available" I would have even been more understanding but they didn't seem that busy and didn't say anything like that. Just told me they would send someone back (and didn't do that). I am going to the local fabric store next time.

Thanks for listening to my vent!

Our walmart is bad about that! I can't tell you how many times I have done the same. :? When I bought my wrap fabric the only reason it wound up getting cut was because the guy who cut it is awesome. He is like the most helpful employee ever and when he couldn't find anyone to help me he came and did it himself. He's always super nice too. :)

I like the cover idea. I NIP without a cover, but if I were to use one (and in some situations I would be more comfortable with one) I would need something like this. I can't for the life of me figure out how to keep a normal cover on. I have one that the hospital gave me and I tried it once - wound up wearing it as a scarf. lol. Thankfully I have yet to have anyone say anything negative to me -knock on wood-, because I'm terrible with confrontation.

I wasn't covering in public, just wearing multiple shirts. But honestly we aren't in public hardly ever, and if we are I try to check and see if he is hungry before we go into the grocery store, if he is then I feed him in the car. BUT lately he has been liking to have his face covered when nursing. He likes to be warm and have it dark, so I've done it a few times if I'm watching TV when he nurses. I just drape his baby blankets over him. I don't really see myself nursing past 6 months, my first goal is 4 months which I think we can make, and then 6 months. But I plan to go back to work in full force around then.

i gave jax his first bottle on like august 17th, and he took it first try...you wouldnt even have known he is a breastfed baby. It was awesome cause my last one screamed when i gave her a bottle. He also takes any soothers i give him. His favorite is the soothie...but we forgot it the other day when we went to the city and i couldnt find it anywhere so i just bought a differant kind and he took it.

Jax eats about every 2 hours too. UNless hes having a nap then he will go longer and at nights he goes like 7 hours. He goes to bed at 9:30 every night and wakes up at 4:30 to each then back to bed till 7:30...like clockwork...its kinda weird.

My mom and i parent the same as well. My mom isnt afraid to discipline my kids and gives them healthy stuff, makes them eat before snacks etc etc...normal bedtime...Where as my inlaws are totally differant which is why when we go anywhere i prefer to leave them with my parents rather than hubbys. My mom still has kids at home too. But the youngest is 16. My mother in law barely knows how to do up a carseat haha
