So the craziest thing happened today... See before the semester started I contacted all my professors and asked to bring LO with since he was breastfeeding. They all approved... Sweet right?! Well I had to add a class... No biggie it's only 50 min and DH watches him. Well today the prof of the class that I don't take LO with saw me bring LO to another class... She call my prof.s and told them they shouldn't allow me to do that. I'm like WTF lady! My classes are at least 1.5 hrs long, others are 4 hrs and I generally don't get a break between them. Idk what her problem is since I have their permission, but she's all making a crazy big deal about how I shouldn't even be nursing in public... I wanna slap the shit out of her! Ugh!

Sorry for the vent.

How is everyone doing?

I would be complaining to someone higher up about that. It's none of her business.

I guess it would depend on the type of classes you are taking. I know when I was going to college nobody could bring their children or have their children outside waiting. Because it was distracting to the other students. However if its cool with the teachers and nobody is complaining except that other teacher then I agree. That's retarded. But you know, people be liking to stick their nose into other people's business and all. :-)

*sigh* I still haven't done the 2 month appointment. Been waiting for my insurance to get approved.

Oh and I'm also sick. Yey. I think it's "just" a cold. Last night I god my lovely 2 hours of sleep and between that and my cold by 9am I just crashed out. I was barely surviving on four hours of sleep, it's like this week it's slowly eased down to three hours. last night was the last straw, like up down up down except mostly up.

Yeah... I'm an early education major, so it's all education classes. No one has complained, and the state law actually says that anywhere I am authorized to be I can nurse... which means I can take him whether they like it or not since it's a public school... I was just being courteous in getting professor approval. I guess it also helps that he is a SUPER quiet baby... like I have had NO issues. I think she was just being nosey and a grumpy old lady. Most my classmates want to pass him around and play with him and my prof are generally ok with that. It's just particularly funny when its dead silent in class and then my baby has crazy loud gas or BM ... then we all bust out laughing.... its actually pretty entertaining. THe only issue (besides that prof) I have had was someone asked me to cover while nursing... specifically a prof because she said I was making people uncomfortable (BTW- I wasn't exposing anything... I covered to latch and de-latch, and had the blanket on the part of my boob that was exposed... I just didn't cover his head because it's still super hot here) I told her upfront that I wouldn't give up my rights to make someone else comfortable... nor would I make my baby uncomfortable because someone else couldn't just look away  It's kinda sad I still have to stand up for that.

On another note... went for the 2 month check up today. 11lbs 6 oz 24.5in long. AND, my pedi is dropping us as patients... WHY?!?! Because I am selectively vaccinating and spacing them out, so when I passed on the DTaP today she informed me she wouldn't have my kids as patients. Seriously WTF is with this Pedi?! She is anti-bf, won't let me space out our vacs... and she seriously spent like 10 min trying to tell me I was stupid and pressure us into the vacs we opted out of! If it weren't for the fact that there are like NO medicaid pedis around, we'd switch, but the next closest one is 50+ miles away (the current one is 20mi away). GRRR!

But, LO is growing like a week and SO adorable! Loving all the baby pix! Wish I could post a pic, but yall know the situation!

Leyton rolled from front to back today! Made me so excited! With so many challenges with his fussiness it's kind of cool to see milestones happen! Yey! I dont know if it was a fluke, but whatever. Ill take it.
