He's not even one yet. He's not pulling the movies out to spite you, he's exploring and learning. It's like my son who just turned a year old, and the cabinets in the kitchen. He loves pulling out the pots and pans. Redirection works wonders. As for the biting, when he bites tell him "Nooo." and set him down. That's what I do. Eventually they'll realize that if they want to be held, they shouldn't bite.

DS is terrified of our Christmas tree. He will just point at it and won't go near it, thank god. haha

My son by age one learned and knew biting was bad and did not get into movies, cabinets, etc. They can leaen very easily what is allowed and whats not. Time out in a play pen or crib worked wonders for my son. Only for a minute or two but ar age one they do know.

<blockquote><b>Quoting King Slayer:</b>" LOL! Lucky. Mine is an explorer. He gets into everything all the time. He's going to be crazy about ... [snip!] ... won't help with that, because she's always been so excited about the ornaments on the tree as well. Wherever she goes, he goes."</blockquote>

Awh lol. When we put up all the decorations DS went straight for the glass ones. Hopefully yours don't get into the glass ones.

My son is 13 months and gets into EVERYTHING no matter how many times we tell him no, redirect him, or even swat his hand. He will even grab stuff while saying "no, no,no" lol
I think its just something kids do and eventually (hopefully) they grow out of it.
