my son turned three this last September he weighs about 35 lbs. im really wanting to get him a booster seat without the back. the car seat we have now is getting small and is always taking his arms out of the straps.

soo would it be to soon to get one.?!

I think a highback booster is 40lbs.

I would say yes. Get him a new carseat that is bigger or goes to higher weights. If it is tight enough he shouldn't be able to wiggle out.

Pretty sure it's 4 and 40lbs, but I'm not certain my 5 year old is still in a harness for another 15lbs.

As long as you get a high back booster with a 5 pt harness youre fine. But you cant use just the seatbelt yet. Thats 4 yrs and 40 lbs.

I wouldnt put him on one just yet :/ I think they should be in a 5point harness until like 5 unless they Are like huge. My 2yr old is 33lbs but I wouldn't switch him to a booster.

He's too young for a booster but you can get him one with a harness that can be converted to a booster seat for when he is old enough.

check out the guidelines for your state. i'm pretty sure for a booster seat without the back, the rule is 4 years AND 40 lbs. my 6 year old weighs about 56 lbs. and is still able to fit in this.

Depends where you are at. Here it's 3 3 ft and 30 lbs for the high back booster

Get a higher back carset, and tighten the straps and use the black butterfly paper clips to keep them tight. We have the issue on my son's car seat bc one strap gets really tight and the other gets really loose so I had to do that to the back of them.

I think he has to be 40 pounds.
i know my ff facing evenflo maestro says use harness till the min of 40 pounds. then you can switch it to the high back booster using the seat belt.

4 years old, and 40 lbs.

My daughter is 4 and my mother thinks it's a good time for her to be in a booster. I told her if she does that, she WILL NOT be taking my daughter anywhere. She only weighs 37-38lbs. She'll be in the 5 point harnesses until she's at least 5.

I don't know but i asked my self the same question onces,
My son is 3 years old and he's 42 lbs and 42 inches long. So his car seat was getting too small for him, I did tried the booster seat one day and i hated it. I felt like he was not secured and protected. So i just got him a bigger car seat.
